Helmsley. One of the country’s most popular market town. Helmsley is somewhere everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. Although if you go once, you are likely to go back time and time again - a visit to this picturesque town, which has so much going on, feels like a breath of fresh air. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can take a trip back in time at Helmsley Castle or admire the blooms at Helmsley's Walled Garden.
The Sidings. Following our visit to Helmsley we then proceed to a unique place for an included 2-course lunch main course and dessert. The Sidings is situated on the edge of York. Established in 1985 by a former railway enthusiast, The Sidings is a unique blend of history and hospitality. With a setting that encompasses five Pullman-style railway carriages, we've turned a love for railways into a one-of-a-kind experience.
